Review Train (Canon S95, Nikon P7000, pixel-peeping, etc)
We have back-to-back Review Round-ups! With Photokina out of the way, review sites are back to the regular camera reviewing schedule! We already had a lot of RAWsumer action yesterday, but there is more today!
We start with the Canon S95, where dpreview has published a new gallery of sample pictures taken with the camera. Meanwhile, The Online Photographer has a conversational review of the camera. Meanwhile, Japanese website DC Watch has published some real world full-size pictures taken with the Canon G12.
On the Nikon side of the aisle, a new review of the latest Canon G-series model is out at Photography Blog. It is called the Nikon Coolpix P7000 ;-)
Staying with Nikon but moving to DSLRs, the on-going review of the D3100 continues at Art of The Image, with new blog-posts added on a regular basis.
It's not the sound of silence, it is the sound of shutters clicking in burst mode! It is a freestyle rap battle between the D7000 and the D300s - see it via Foto Actualidad.
Pixel-peeping
Fotopolis.pl has a color-chart ISO comparison taken with the Olympus E-5, going from 100 to 6400, followed by real-world samples.
On the mirrorless front, there is an ISO comparison between the Panasonic G2, G10 and the Canon D-Rebel T2i/550D in the Panasonic G10 report at Photography Bay. Full-size samples from the comparison are available for evaluation purposes. The Ricoh KR-5SuperII models for the test.
