The heat is on! Sensor overheating limits Sony A55/A33 video recording time
Pellicle mirror on the wall, who's the hottest pellicle mirror camera of all? :-) Engadget writes that according to an advisory notice issued by Sony Japan, the Sony A55 and A33 video recording time is limited by the imaging sensor overheating. The A55 overheats slightly faster than the A33. There are some workarounds to increase shooting time, such as turning off sensor-shift stabilization, avoiding direct sunlight, and turning the camera off when not in use. Innovation and progress never happens in a straight line!
