Quesabesde touches the Panasonic 3D Micro Four Thirds lens
Panasonic is one of the camera manufacturers participating at IFA 2010 in Berlin, and there, Spanish website Quesabesde.com got a chance to get a hands-on with the 3D Panasonic M43rds lens (computer-translated). The detailed specifications of the lens appear to be embargo'ed until the Photokina trade show, which means there is at least one more Panasonic announcement coming.
One interesting tidbit is that Quesabesde writes that the Panasonic G2 camera body "recognized" the 3D lens, so this feature was either built-in from the start (or "sneaked in" during one of the firmware updates {I don't recall if the G2 had a firmware update} [I don't recall what I had for breakfast today]). So one of the questions that would need to be answered when the formal announcement is which bodies is this lens compatible with and what about the Olympus M43rds cameras?
