New Pentax DSLR product(s) coming on September 9

Things have been rather quiet on the Pentax rumoralia front, but it looks like September 9 will be revelation day for Pentax DSLRs! Foto Actualidad writes that according to the calendar at the Japanese business website Sankeibiz {via dslrcamera} Pentax (Hoya) will announce, at 1PM Japanese time on Thursday September 9, according to the computer-translation of the calendar, "new product lines of digital SLR ca" ("ca" is presumably cameras cut-off; although it could be foreshadowing for future chromatic aberration issues says camera analyst Debbie Downer).

The url of the Google-Translate translation does not seem to work on the Sankeibiz website, so alternately you can open it in Chrome and click on the Translate button that shows up automatically right below the browser's address-bar after the page completes loading.

Speaking of Pentax, the K-x with 18-55/55-300mm two-lens kit has returned to $629 again at Amazon (sold and shipped by Amazon itself) and at B&H Photo which will begin accepting orders again at 8:45pm New York City time on Saturday.
