Fuji X100 presentation and interview with designers
Photoxels features two videos from the Photokina trade show by Olivier Laurent of the British Journal of Photography. The first video is the introduction of the camera, a podium presentation by Adrian Clarke, whom, press release readers may recall from the various Fuji press releases throughout the years. There he says the main customization of the sensor were the microlenses which you may have seen in the announcement material.
The second video is an interview with the designers, in a noisy behind-the-scenes area. It didn't help that there was free soda on the table on the far left corner that attracted the free-loaders :) One of the two Fuji guys also plays the role of the translator. It's not easy to make out what they are saying so here is a tip that may (or may not) help: try a two-pass approach: let the video run through first so you can get accustomed to their voices, and then on the second pass try to understand what they are saying.
