New Pentax K-5 and K-r rumors hit the PFFs (updated)
Update (Monday August 23 at 3:54am EST): RiceHigh writes that this rumor is coming from digicame-info.com, and the person who provided the information was correct in the Sony NEX cameras says RiceHigh.
Original Post: One of the regular "rumoraxians" in the PentaxForums forums has posted a new Pentax K-5 and K-r rumor (via Foto Actualidad).
According to the rumor, the K-r will be a "grown up" version of the K-x, with a 12mp sensor (hooray for megapixel restraint!), 6fps burst mode, 120 color combinations (body * grip), a mid-October release, and a price of 75K yen.
The rumor also says there will be a K-5 will have a 16mp Sony sensor, 7fps, ISO up to 25600, September 20 announcement (the day before the trade show opens its doors) with a mid-October release, and a price of 140K yen.
There is already a long and vigorous discussion of this in the aforementioned PFFs thread, where the "full frame" issue keeps coming up. This is also discussed at the dpreview forums.
As usual, please note rumors are rumors!
