With the waves and waves of new cameras out there, we often forget to mention the "support this blog with your purchases" beg-a-thon, so to make it easier to help us help you help us, we have added visual aids at the top of the page - buttons that point to some of the critically-acclaimed and popular retailers that we are affiliated with, listed in reverse geographical order. Your support has practical benefits in terms of readability and content - it helps us AVOID the following type of annoying advertisements you see at many other websites, big and small, old and new:

+ full-page ads before you can actually read a page
+ too many banner ads (we typically have 1 or 2 at most)
+ in-text random keyword ads (eg double-underline ads)
+ in-text pop-under ads when you mouse-over a word or phrase
