Hasselblad H4D-40 and H4D-50 comparison-review at Photoscala (also compared to Leica S2)
The medium format action continues with a comparison-review of the Hasselblad H4D-50 and H4D-40 at Photoscala.de (computer translated) by Dr. Georg N. Nyman. The review has lots of sample crops and discussion of the various aspects of the camera's performance. Some comparisons to the Leica S2 are also included. And if you want to practice your German, you can start by reading the introduction to the cameras.
UPDATE (June 6): A new part in the testing series is out, check it out {computer-translated}
The Hasseblad H4D-series was ...launched at the Kennedy Space Center in September 2009 with the HD4-60 and H4D-50 models. (Yes, the number = megapixels). Then in February 2010, Hasselblad revealed a more "affordable" 40mp version, the H4D-40 - perhaps in response to the Leica S2, priced just below the Leica S2 :)
