Sigma 120-400mm f4.5-5.6 DG HSM adds stabilization (OS) for Pentax and Alpha DSLRs

Sigma is slowly but steadily seeing the light and re-offering OS versions of their non-OS lenses for mounts that traditionally have sensor-shift stabilization. Today they have announced that the 120-400mm f4.5-5.6 DG HSM OS (optical image stabilization) will become available in Sony Alpha and Pentax K-mount. So photographers of those DSLRs can chose optical or sensor-shift. The Japanese market will get them before the end of May. We do not know about other markets yet. (via DC Watch Impress).

A quick search at Amazon shows that all mounts regardless of OS are going for $900. The new stabilized Pentax and Alpha lenses are available for pre-order.
