Casio reveals the EX-H5 - a new 10X blade-zoom in Europe [updated]
Let the superzoom parties continue! Casio Europe has revealed a new 10X "blade-zoom" (slim-compact superzoom) digital camera, the EX-H5. This is the third officially announced camera in the EX-H* series, and fourth if you count the development notice for the GPS-enabled H-series model.
The EX-H5 has the expected featured, 10X zoom lens (24-240mm), sensor-shift stabilization, 12mp 1/2.3" sensor, 2.7" LCD, LiIon, and things like that. This does not have the 1000-shot battery life, but the more typical 240 CIPA (with the NP-80).
Also announced in Europe, but previously announced in Japan and other markets is the Casio EX-FH25, which came out in mid-November 2009 along with the EX-FC150.
Update June 30, 2010
The camera is now coming to America as well says Photography Review. It will open at $200 around July.
