Review Train (Canon T2i/550D, SX210 IS, Lumix TZ8/ZS5, Sony HX5v, Fuji S2550hd)
Time to catch-up with some recent potentially interesting reviews from the review-o-sphere. We start with a camera that has confusing names but hasn't seen much review-action, the Fuji S2550hd, at Info Sync World. Listen carefully to the audio in the video clip. I can hear a FAIL from my house? [this is supposed to be an HD superzoom]. Not to pile on but that's the price a manufacturer pays when they release countless new cameras while not having the resources to pay attention to details with each individual model - Fuji is "leading" the most-new-cameras of 2010 "leaderboard".
A smaller superzoom is next, the Panasonic TZ8/ZS5, the "deputy" of the 2010 "flagship" (TZ10/ZS7), getting an express review at Imaging Resource Express.
Next up we go to the Canon D-Rebel T2i, 550D, Kiss X4, which gets a review at Digital Camera Review and also gets the usual samples gallery at DC Resource. Stay tuned to them for the completed review, it is scheduled next in their calendar.
And we close this round-up with one more review of review-magnet Sony HX5v, this one at Photo Review. As you can see, there is a renewed interest in Sony cameras now that they have left the Island of
Elba Memorystickia and take SD/SDHC cards as well.
