Nikon World Troubles Day: walkout and anti-competitive
It looks like today is a bad day for Nikon. Amateur Photographer UK has two reports - first up, workers walked out at the Nikon Thailand factory in a dispute over benefits and compensation. Meanwhile in neutral Switzerland, Nikon Switzerland is investigated for anti-competitive practices.
(The cynics may say - they can't afford to pay their workers because they spent all their money "buying" Canon photographers and their websites?)
I'm sure users of older Nikon lenses would also like to launch an "Autofocus investigation" - why DSLR bodies below the D90 are not allowed to autofocus on their own? If Pentax and others can do it and still make affordable DSLRs, surely the almighty Nikon can do it too :)
