New CP+ reports and booth visits: film SLRs, Olympus, Panasonic, Museum

Time for a new round-up of new updates from the inaugural Japanese CP+ (CP Plus) trade show. We start at digitalcamera.jp with day #3 of their coverage, which spotlights the exhibits of the Japanese Camera Museum. Meanwhile, DC Watch typically does not have weekend updates, so there is nothing new there.

Next up we visit CNet Asia which visits the Kenko 35mm film SLRs. Yes, film SLRs, the ones that take write-once silver halide "memory cards" :)

The ice is in at both the Panasonic and Olympus booths. The Panasonic post also includes the expected Panasonic lens road map, which of course now has the 2010 surprise - the new 14-42mm kit lens!

And the new Panasonic 14-42mm actually reminds us of an interview with Olympus (before the new Panasonic kit lens was announced) where the Olympus rep pointed out that they are not planning to come up with a new kit lens (I guess he knew about the new Panasonic one then!)
