Leica S2 ISO and color chart samples at Fotopolis

Time to pixel-peep the Leica "mainframe"! Fotopolis has just published a three page Leica S2 preview which includes ISO and color-chart full-size samples. You can find a preview of the camera body on page #1 and the pictures on the next two pages. Please note these are big files, so please use their bandwidth responsibly!

The medium format battles are heating up, with the traditional medium format powers offering competitive models just below the Leica price, but also "starter kits" that compete with prices with the flagship Nikon and Canon 35mmFF DSLRs. Add to the mix (eventually) the on-paper queen of bang-for-the-buck Pentax 645D, and you have a competitive market!
