Interview parade: Panasonic on G2, Sony (French), another Pentax on 645D, and Casio
It is interview season! We start with a video interview of a Panasonic UK manager at AP UK (Amateur Photographer UK) talking about the brand new Panasonic G2. The one previewed in the video is the blue G2 model.
Next up, we go to Focus Numerique where they interviewed a Sony Japan executive during their coverage of the inaugural CP+ 2010 trade show. The interview is in French, here is the englishes translation. The interview touches upon mirrorless, DSLR-Video and 3D. The interviewer (not interviewee) speculates of a Photokina launch for the mirrorless system.
And now time for another Pentax interview on the 645D system, this one comes from Tech-On! (via photoscala). The interview reveals an initial monthly production output of 500 units with a May 2010 planned release.
Staying at Tech-On, they also have an interview with Casio on their prototype picture frames shown at CP+. Apparently they decided to put a "presence sensor" (motion sensor?) so the digital picture frame will keep changing the pictures (eg turning them into paintings) to prevent you from getting "bored" :)
