In-stock alert: Sony HX5v for $350 (updated)

We have another in-stock alert for you! This time it is a backlit CMOS compact-zoom announced in 2010, the Sony HX5v is now in-stock and shipping at Abt Electronics, Amazon.com, and B&H Photo for its opening price of $350.

This camera takes both SD/SDHC cards and Memorysticks and it will be a very good test-case to see how Sony can do now that their cameras are "open" to photographers with a bag full of SD/SDHC memory cards.
