Pictures from CP+ 2010 trade show via CNet Asia and DC Watch

We continue the CP+ round-ups with a new update. If you missed the previous round-ups, be sure to check them out first. We'll try not to repeat anything we have already mentioned.

Most of us are obviously not there, but CNet Asia is offering us a very nice tour of the trade show with a 25-picture gallery. Each picture has a caption with details on the booth at hand. Olympus fans may be a little irritated that Olympus is showing E3/E30 cutouts instead of E5 and E50 mockups. But if they get too hot, the Olympus police will ice them ;-)

Meanwhile, Panasonic has announced so many cameras, their line-up is almost more populous than the periodic table (all apologies if this brings up Chemistry memories).

Lots of action from DC Watch (computer-translated)
A new report has gone live at DCW, this time it is the Olympus booth which feels like a "Star Trek Generations" movie, with OM lenses, Classic Pens, Four Thirds, and Micro Four Thirds, with a few non-Oly lenses mixed in for good measure. Of forward-looking interest, they have a couple of pictures of the upcoming 14-150mm M43rds lens. There's also a picture of a Stylus Tough with a a big rock on top of it. [NEW!]

And now time for some computer-translated updates from the Japanese website DC Watch Impress. We start at the Fuji booth with the hot bazoomka, the Fuji HS10, at DC Watch. Multiple angles of the camera body, along with cutouts of its and the F80exr. They also have pictures of the 3D system, and the "accordion" GF670.

Another camera generating an announcement splash in 2010 is Panasonic. Despite the G10 not being announced (yet?) in Japan, the camera was shown at the trade-show. Does that mean Panasonic is "saving" it for another Micro Four Thirds announcement? DC Watch shows plenty of red G2 body pictures, along with G10, and also the GF1 "Pink Fairy", and the P&S models.

Next up, a visit to the Nikon booth where they feature their existing products, including a Coolpix "wedding cake", and a "hole in the wall" camera (shouldn't they have saved that for the Adult trade show?)

Sigma may have "optimized" their manufacturing, as they have all three of the recently announced cameras shown there, along with a number of lenses, and what looks like colorful waterproof housings for the DP-series cameras, and eventually the SD15 too.

We only highlighted above the most interestin booths (in our opinion) but DC Watch has more booth visits on their website including Canon, Casio, Polaroid (no Lady GaGa), Tamron, accessories, and GE.

Friday updates at Akihabara News
Tired of the modern-era cameras? Akihabara rounds up (in pictures) some of the retro action. [NEW!]

Mild camera abuse follows! Olympus has a video of a stress test for the Stylus Tough 8010. They even have a "string macro" so they can repeat this stress test over and over and over. [NEW!]

Akihabara News has started publishing their Friday updates, beginning with the Casio booth. We will update this as they add more action.
