New Pentax X90 superzoom (26X, 720p)

Pentax brings out their second "modern era" superzoom digital camera, nearly one year after the X70. Before that, they tried the "hybrid blimps" with the Optio MX and friends. The camera is part of a group of mega-zooms in the market that share more than their manufacturers are willing to admit :)

The main specs include a 12mp 1/2.3" sensor, 26X optical zoom (26-676mm eq) [double 26!] with sensor-shift stabilization, manual exposure (PASM) [just like the X70], 2.7" LCD (230K), 720p video, D-LI92 battery, and things like that.

The camera is available for pre-order at Amazon for $400, while Europe will get this for 350 euro in April.
