New Ricoh CX3 joins the backlit CMOS sensor party (updated)
Just seconds ago we mentioned the new backlit CMOS Nikon P100. Now we have another company jumping on the backlit bandwagon, it is Ricoh, with the just announced Ricoh CX3, summarized at Photo Review.
This camera comes just five months after the CX2 and one year since the CX1 model. So we have roughly a six-month cycle here.
More on this after we cover the new Olympus Micro Four Thirds announcement...
More action on the CX3 at the RicohForum.com, including a Ricoh-supplied sample image!

The camera is available for pre-order at Amazon natively. This is good news for Ricoh fans, as their cameras are hard to find in the US market. With Amazon offering them natively, it opens up the door to Ricoh cameras for more consumers/techies.
