New Fuji JV-series (JV150, JV100) mirrors AV-series but with LiIon batteries
If you thought splitting the A-series into the AX-series and AV-series was not enough, well, fear not, because Fuji has split the J-series into three (!) lines, the JZ (Jay Z?), JX and JV! We start with the Junior Varsity models...
Fuji JV150
The new JV-series is using LiIon batteries, just like their predecessors, the J-series. They also appear to be mirroring in terms of the other major specs, the AV series.
This camera has a 14mp 1/2.3" sensor, 3x lens (32-96mm, f3.2-5.9, non-stabilized), with 720p video, 2.7" (230K) display, NP-45A battery, SD/SDHC and things like that.
Fuji JV100 (JV105)
Once again, the main difference appears to be the sensor, this one has a more reasonable for the specs 12mp 1/2.3".
This model should come out this month, with an opening price of $130 and it is available for pre-order at Amazon.
