Fuji HS10 first impressions + video preview
Continuing with the superzoom theme after the Nikon P100 roundup, we now pick up one first impressions and one video preview of the Fuji HS10 [announcement], a 30X RAW-zoomer, with a backlit CMOS sensor and AA-power. The 30X lens offers a wild 24-720mm "equivalent" with sensor-shift stabilization!
The text-based first-impressions look comes from Digital Camera Info, with seven short pages showing different body parts of the camera and menus. Next up is the video preview, which we already mentioned in one of the many round-ups, but HS10 fans may have missed in the sea of PMA chaos - it comes from Info Sync World (requires Flash).
And now a reading assignment - a dpreview forum user has spotted the PDF user manual of the camera, a total of 151 pages long.
Fuji has given this camera a higher premium, the starting pre-order price is $500, while Nikon's P100 starts at $400.
