Chile Earthquake and relief efforts

I'm sure you have heard by now of the devastating 8.8 magnitude earthquake that hit central Chile. You can follow the latest updates via Google search, which has links to resources, latest news, and ways to help financially or otherwise, and Twitter among many other places. The earthquake magnitude scale is logarithmic, the Chile earthquake released approximately 500 times more energy than the one that hit Haiti :(
