Aperture 3 leaks Canon 1Ds Mark IV name or typo? (updated)
While going through the new Apple Aperture 3 announcement, Capture Integration noticed that the page showing Aperture 3 RAW support includes a camera model named 1Ds Mark IV. Needless to say, this camera does not exist right now! The entry for the 1Ds Mark IV has an asterisk, and the asterisk means "Requires Aperture 2 or later with Mac OS X v10.4.11 Tiger or Mac OS X v10.5.2 Leopard or later".
The 1D Mark IV is not listed there, so one could perhaps assume (or Apple spin it as) they meant to say "1D Mark IV" instead of "1Ds Mark IV". However, the 1D Mark IV is not the only recent camera missing from the supported list. Others missing include the new Canon T2i/550D, Panasonic GF1, Olympus E-Pens, many Alphas, Leica M9/S2, etc...
UPDATE: Galbraith has a post on RAW compatibility and the two Apple support links referenced there do not mention the 1Ds Mark IV, but they do mention the 1D Mark IV. However, the page mentioned at the top continues to list the 1Ds Mark IV.
