Rounding up a high-volume CES 2010 day
Waves and waves of mostly new compact digital cameras came out the last few hours. The fastest way to catch up is to check these places:
+ January headlines - everything posted in January, one line per blog-post
+ News - short summaries of the latest news items in reverse chronological order
+ New Camera Announcements also in reverse chronological order
Information overload won, so we will "digest" the new Sony and Casio cameras on Thursday. If you haven't seen these yet, be sure to check dpreview.com, Imaging Resource et al!
And as Charlie Wallace of Encinitas, California pointed out in a detailed email, the new Exmor-based Sony and Casio cameras may be the most interesting of this bunch. The HX5v was showcased at the Sony CES press conference a few hours ago by Nigel Baker (reality TV personality among other things).
That very press conference we covered in an impromptu live-blogging session using CoverItLive. The live-blogging-session is available as an instant replay. Thanks to Chris Gampat (Twitter, website) for sharing his thoughts and opinions during the session, and preventing a filibuster :)
