Pentax K-x takes on ...Canon 5D and 7D

Perhaps emboldened by the positive reviews, including the "HR" at dpreview, the Pentax K-x has decided (figure of speech) to take on the Canon 5D and 7D!

We start with a K-x vs 5D ISO-range comparison at Rice High. This is the 5D Mark I, not the Mk II. Rice High is also planning a review of the K-x at a later time. Click-through each picture to get to the full-size version! How did they do? You decide!

Surviving the scars and bruises from the 5D cage-match, the K-x now bravely takes on the dual-core Canon 7D at Foto Actualidad. Full-size versions of the comparison pictures are available via flickr. FA used Lightroom 3 Beta for the RAW to JPEG conversions.

We won't comment on the results (but you please feel free to do so) so as not to introduce bias into the evaluations. Anyone disappointed with their camera, we'll be happy to take it off your hands - please don't toss it in the river! :)
