Noise wars: Nikon D3000 vs Pentax K-x

Neutral Day has published an ISO comparison set between one of the leaders of "La Resistance" (the Pentax K-x) and the Japanese-market step-child (see 2009 Japan sales - the Nikon D3000). Both have megapixel-modest APS-C sensors. Full-size files for evaluation purposes are available through flickr. So how did they do? We won't spoil the findings, check it out and Judge-Judy for yourselves :)
