New Panasonic FH3 and FH1 (FS11, FS10) are step-up P&S models
With the F3 and F2 presumably being the entry-point, the next step-up in standard P&S models are the new Panasonic FH3 and FH1. These are globally-confused names, they also go by the names FS11 and FS10. Silly Panasonic marketing, pick a name and stick with it! :)
These two variation-on-a-theme lovelies differ on the choice of sensor, 14mp vs 12mp at 1/2.3". Just great. The other main features include a versatile 5X optical zoom (28-140mm eq) with MegaOIS, 720p video, 2.7" display, SDXC support, ID-Security land-locked LiIon battery with a 310 CIPA rating, and things like that. The cameras have a few minor differences, which you can find by checking the spec-sheet above.
Update: On Jan-25, the FH1 (FS10) was officially revealed in Japan where we learn the monthly production output is 40000 units per month.
