Head-on Canon 1D Mark IV vs Nikon D3s (ISO 100 to 100K)
Via Foto Actualidad, we learn of one of the first head-on Nikon D3s vs Canon 1D Mark IV head-on comparisons, posted at Moss-Foto. It goes from ISO 100 to 100K, taking a picture of the same scene with each camera. The shown pictures come from the 1D Mark IV, and when you mouse-over you see the Nikon equivalents. There are three sets of data, with NR on and off along with automatic-light-adjustments. Better yet, the RAW files are available to download and evaluate on your own.
This test is discussed in the dpreview forums, with the tester being available for questions and feedback.
Please note, as the disclaimer says at the bottom of the test page, this is not intended to be a scientific test, but a head-on user-test created to satisfy the curiosity of how these two cameras do head-to-head.
[NEW!] Just out, a camera body and menu side-by-side comparison between the 1D Mark IV and the 1D Mark III. This is camera-body and camera-menus, not pictures. See it at Lighting Mods.
