Two new Canon 7D reviews and other stories

The Canon 7D party continues with two new reviews. First up, hot off the e-wires is Digital Camera Review. As usual, measurements, samples and ISO comparisons are on page #2, and the conclusions on the last page, which as usual we won't spoil here.

Next up, Canon Rumors spotlights a one-page review of the camera at GSM Arena, which looks at the camera from a bird-photographer's point of view.

The above have been added to the list of 7D reviews which is getting longer and longer. But it is still "missing" the Imaging Resource review... Are they delaying because they are looking into specific issues like they did with the E-P1?

Other 7D stories
Time for some street photography with the 7D at Northlight Images. This was part of a test to see how the camera meters in different situations.

Availability
In terms of availability, we have just refreshed the stock status page, and the camera is shipping in both configurations at $1700 and $1900 respectively. Other than a short-lived token discount at Amazon a few days ago, it seems to be holding steady price-wise. Like-wise the 100mm hybrid IS lens is currently at its expected opening price of $1050 (this is temporally connected to the 7D).
