Sony A500 review at Alpha Mount World

And now time for a non-Canon review :) Alpha Mount World has just finalized their Sony A500 review. The A500 is the 12mp CMOS "cousin" of the higher-megapixel A550 [reviews], and as such it hasn't received as much review-attention, although the A550 can't claim a lot of attention either.

As usual we won't reveal their findings here! Considering that very little is known review-wise about this camera, we highly recommended reading it end to end. But here are some things of interest for the speed-readers - a ...healthy ISO range at the bottom of the page, and the conclusions and pros and cons. As you may recall, this camera made some claims on battery life. Did it deliver?

As you can see from the list of A500 reviews, the camera badly needs at least 3-4 more reviews! One would think that with the excitement generated by the Pentax K-x sensor, more people would be willing to increase the priority of their A500 review.
