RicohForum first look at the Ricoh GXR system (APS-C unit)

Foto Actualidad rescues us from the Canon review ground-hog day as they spotlight an exciting and developing first-impressions report of the Ricoh GXR system at the RicohForum forum. If you have any questions or special requests be sure to ask them for future consideration, when they get a longer-term review unit. Red Dwarf fans may get higher priority :)

Their report so far includes sample pictures, auto-focus/shutter sounds, first impressions, and much more! They have also made available full-resolution images for evaluation purposes. Use your browser's search function to locate the "dropbox" links!

Thanks to RicohForum for sharing their findings with the rest of us! Please note there are currently three pages of discussion, so don't miss out!

And a quick reminder of GXR-speak: the GXR is the camera-body, the A12 is the macro-block (APS-C sensor + 50mm eq. lens), and the S10 is the GX200-like lens-block (1/1.7x" with 24-72mm eq lens). The system was officially announced just a month ago, but it feels like it was two months ago :)

Disambiguation: The "GF1" mentioned in the RFF title refers to the Ricoh GF1 flash, not the Panasonic GF1 camera
