Ricoh GXR system review at Photo Review
Photo Review has just published their three-part system review of the new Ricoh GXR system! First, they have the review of the GXR body, which is the camera body but without a sensor. Next, they take a look at the GR A12 camera unit, which is composed of a 12mp APS-C sensor and 50mm (eq.) f2.5 macro lens. This is likely the one that will generate the most interest, because of the sensor size. The review includes the usual reviewalia, including plenty of Imatest graphs, and the summarizing buy/dont-buy segment.
Their system review concludes with the GR S10 camera unit, which has a 10mp 1/1.7x" sensor and a 24-72mm eq lens. This is similar in terms of these specs to the existing Ricoh GX200 [reviews]. As usual, you will find Imatest and all the other review goodies. No spoilers here either.
You can check past, present and future updates of the system by checking the GXR mini blog.
In terms of availability, the system is available for pre-order at Amazon et al, and as you can see from the prices, this is priced (at the moment) like Leica-Lite.
