Panasonic is officially grabbing the reigns of Sanyo today, and becoming a bigger player in the P&S market as Sanyo, along with a number of Taiwanese companies, actually produce some-to-most of the P&S models of the other "major brands". Speaking of which - a quick tip for sports photographers - if you are shooting basketball and want to "break the ice" with your subjects with a joke, be sure to mention "brother-in-law" defense and "mother-in-law" defense ;-)
