Leica X1 sample pictures and ISO crops

Polish website Fotopolis has just published real-world samples as well as ISO comparison crops taken with the one and only Leica X1! One would hope that the introduction of this camera by Leica would "encourage" other manufacturers that can produce more affordable versions to go beyond 1/1.6" with their compacts. And it takes away the "excuses" by the "manufacturer apologists" who are obviously proven wrong by both the M9 and the X1 in terms of sensor-size limiting camera-size to that of big-DSLR or nothing.

The X1 is currently available for pre-order at Amazon et al for the round price of $2000.
