Leica M9 review at Photocrati
Jack Neubart and the Photocrati Experience have just posted their review of the Leica M9. This is a photographer-priority experiential review, looking at the major features of the camera. Conclusions are towards the bottom, which as usual we won't reveal. The M9 will be among the cameras that get a review-cluster when we do the next batch update.
Now if you like the Leica look, but want to pay Vivitar prices, there is an "alternative", here is a retro-looking Vivitar P&S basic digicam with a tiny P&S sensor - the Vivicam 8027 - shown at DC Watch Impressa. See more pictures of it at Gizmoshop.jp. Both computer-translated. Update: Actually it is available at Adorama directly and via Amazon for $130.
