The Ricoh GRD III as a high-ISO b+w camera by Mitch Allard at TOP

Mitch Allard has shared his experience in using the Ricoh GRD III as a black and white digital camera at ISO 1600 at The Online Photographer (corrected url). A long discussion followed with some interesting commentary. As a result of some of the comments, chief TOP, MJ, posted a clarification to call-off the attack dogs. Some Ricoh and Foveon fans will tell you that a very small but vocal group of CaNiKoN-traditionalists will go after any camera that threatens the "status quo" or dares to take a decent picture despite it not being a 20-pound $7000 DSLR :)
