The Fake Chuck speaks on 7D, video, and more

The Jon Stewart of Camera Talk, "The Fake Chuck Westfall" has a new blog-post up and running, talking about the 7D issues, recalling an awkward chat with Canon HQ, and has a very good point on the new Nikon DSLR-Video promotion, which as the Fake Chuck points out, came after Canon took down the Vincent Laforet video, as if Nikon was trying to twist the knife on Canon's back.

And you have to applaud Canon for their astuteness. Who else would take down a viral video at the peak of its popularity? The only way to make up what was lost in viral marketing is to hire someone to film a re-enactment of the Balloon Boy saga using the 7D :)
