Ricoh GXR system goes live in Japan on December 18

It looks like the Ricoh GXR system will make its debut in Japan just two weeks before the end of the year according to a new notice posted at Japanese website DC Watch. The camera-block, two lens-blocks, and nine accessories including the EVF (VF-2) and flash (GF1) will be available at release time. There is no mention of availability for other markets.
