Moose Peterson: No Photoshop for wildlife (JPEG photogs get inspired!)
In a very interesting new TechTolk podcast, wildlife photographer Moose Peterson talks about photography and his work. One thing of interest to those who may not be familiar with his style, Moose Peterson does not Photoshop or even crop wildlife images. He says about 90% of his wildlife images are JPEGs straight out of the camera. He explains the reasons why he shoots wildlife in this manner, as opposed to landscapes.
The whole podcast (32 minutes long) is quite interesting, but if you want to listen to the Wildlife-Photoshop part, it starts at the 20-minute and 30-second mark. HDR fans, be sure to press stop after this segment, because you may not like what he has to say next about HDR :)
