Luminous reports on the Canon S90

It is LL-Compact-Time! Luminous Landscape has just posted their field report on the Canon S90 is. As usual, we won't spoil their conclusions here. At the beginning of the review, you will also get a recap of LL's current interchangeable-lens camera line-up (C and N are *gasp* missing!)

With the LX3 "yielding" the floor due to pricing and availability issues (although, what a coincidence, the LX3K price keeps dropping), the S90 is becoming one of the breakout success stories of 2009.

And this goes to show the power of the really-free free-market and competition, versus the abomination when you have soft monopolies, and the insiders making all the rules. Oops, wrong blog :)

We have just refreshed the S90 stock status matrix, and the camera is shipping from at least a dozen reputable retailers for $430. But the waterproof case is still in pre-order status.
