Leica Talks and ALC reviews the f0.95 Noctilux
One of our readers pointed out in a previous Leica post that Leica's Stefan Daniel talked to Leicaphiles and the L-Camera Forums transcribed the conversation. There are no breaking news, but there are some very interesting tidbits on the R-series, M-series and the developing X-series.
In other Leica news, the Adorama ALC blog can see in the dark, because they have tested the Noctilux f0.95 lens. Yes, that is not a typo, it is an f0.95 lens, and yes, it is a five-figure lens.
Speaking of five-figure Leicas, the Travel Photographer blog opines on the new M7 Hermes. It has more Vitamin C than oranges ;-)
And we close this mini Leica roundup with an update from BJoP on the status of the S2, where they say 100 to 200 camera units will be available in December. That means Leica will have a party every time someone buys one since they would also have to buy lenses :)
