Leica S2 full-size samples at Photography Blog

Photography Blog has posted Leica S2 sample pictures taken during a Leica event in London. Indoor and outdoor pictures, going up to ISO 640. A total of 23 full-size JPEGs are available for pixel-peep-evaluation. This is still a pre-production camera, although as Leica Guy told BJoP yesterday, it's getting close to finalization.

It will be very interesting to see where this camera goes, as it is facing intense competition from the traditional medium format world, and the high-end 35mm DSLRs like the D3x. On top of that, it is coming in with a brand new lens system, which means the initial financial commitment is above and beyond what a typical camera-body or digital-back may require for those already "in" a system.
