Hasselblad wants True Colors with new H3Dii-50 multi-shot
The medium format excitement-revival won't stop! It may be mid-November, but yet another new camera has been announced! Hasselblad is trying to push the medium format envelope with the new H3Dii-50 multi-shot. Multi-shot? Yes, it takes consecutive shots by moving the sensor one-pixel at a time to achieve full RGBness. If you can't unBayer them, shift them! This is of course in the MeFo price-o-sphere, starting at 23000 euro, but also offering trade-in options in the mid teens.
But that's not all! There's some DRAMA too! Luminous Landscaping just posted a news update - the Hasselblad CEO, Christian Poulsen resigned! Steven Lee called, he asks if he wants to play a few rounds of golf ;-)
