Sony Alpha A850 review and first impressions

Share/Save/Bookmark

The Sony Alpha A850 is slowly making it into the hands of reviewers, who are extremely busy these days as it has been raining interesting cameras the last few months. So today we have two different websites featuring their impressions with the A850!

We start with Peter K. Burian filing his field report on the A850 for Photocrati. The camera is evaluated, with web-size samples used to illustrate various points of interest and features of the camera.

Next up, there is a first impressions look at the camera at Photography Bay.

Needless to say, if you have an APS-C Sony/Minolta DSLR and are thinking of getting the Alpha A850, be sure to also make room in your budget for computer power and additional storage to deal with the 24 megapixels.

The above have been adding to the list of A850 reviews at the DSLR Review Organizer (NoisyReviews.com for short).

The full-framer is currently shipping from a number of retailers including various 3rd-parties at Amazon for its initial starting price of $2000.
