The Pentax K-7 dpreview review is out!
The time has come for the Pentax K7. The day of the dpreview review is here. A trio of reviewers have posted a 33-page review of the camera. As usual, conclusions and samples are on the last two pages. What did they find out? We won't spill the beans and spoil the fun - head on out and find out!
We will have reactions to the review later on, giving people some time to read and digest the review.
Not sure if it is related to the review (*wink* *wink*) but some of the K-7 prices have bounced up since yesterday. Amazon herself returned to $1150, BeachCamera-upon-Amazon went up to $1130. If you don't mind waiting for shipment until October 12 or later, Adorama has it for $1100. B&H Photo offers it for $1160 but it includes a two-year extended warranty as stated clearly on their website. Orders placed at B&H Photo won't ship until October 12 or later. The ordering window for B&H Photo is open until 6:30pm EST tonight, and between Sunday night and Friday night. See website for details.

You can learn more about the camera by getting Yvon Bourque's e-book on the K7, available for download right after purchase. Yvon has made available a PDF sampler from the book, and as you can see in the chapter index, he had the prophetic multi-color scheme in his books's TOC that later appeared on the K-x. :)
