PDN Gear Guide looks at compacts with large-sensors

Compact cameras with large sensors are increasing in popularity (again) as the camera manufacturers are slowly coming down from their Ivory Towers (Shiny Large Residences) and looking at what the photographers actually want. PDN Gear Guide has posted a three-page state of the cameras article on compact-sized digital cameras with large sensors, with a special focus (no pun intended) on some of the challenges the manufacturers face(d) in making these.
