New Canon Instant Rebates (also Canon Loyalty Program)
It looks like Canon is getting a head-start to the holiday shopping season with their new Instant Rebates on lenses and accessories! You can see them all in one place at this Amazon promo page, or follow the table below.
The prices you see are the what-you-pay prices, as the "save $XX off" thing that manufacturers do is more gimmicky-marketing than news-you-can-use. The instant rebates end in mid-January 2010. Yep, we are saying goodbye to the 00s and on to a new decade (or if you are the pessimistic type, it's a new decayed)!
The prices and availability are current as of the latest update date: Sunday October 25, at 2:10am EST - prices are in lockstep
You can bookmark and revisit this page if you like, here is the permalink.
UPDATE: Running in parallel with this program is the Canon Loyalty Program for EOS and Powershot. This gives a $50 or $20 rebate and if you don't object the bureaucracy, it's easy money for frequent Canon buyers. Details at the Camera Deals blog.
