More Canon 7D reviews and impressions (and status update)

We start with something Canon-general. One of the Canon Japan managers told AP-UK "yes we can go beyond ISO 102400"! This and a couple of other tidbits are at AP-UK.

Now to the 7D! We start with the Tech Radar review, which includes a handful of real-world full-size samples and their findings. Please note that price-deltas between the D300s and 7D vary depending on where you are. In the UK, where TechRadar is, the 7D costs GBP 400 more than the D300s, while in the USA, the D300s actually started at $100 more than the 7D (currently they are both at $1700, as D300s got some discounting). Perhaps Nikon-USA includes a surcharge on every camera so they can afford to keep Ashton Kutcher on the endorsement payroll ;-) This huge geographical delta in price is worth a post in its own right!

Next up, we go to Pocket Lint where they have posted their usual spartan-review. They also provide 600x400 sample images, which are of course ideally suited for evaluating an 18mp camera like the 7D ;-)
