Leica S2 delayed, Leica confirmed out of PMA 2010 (updated)

We mentioned on Friday that Leica is likely out of PMA 2010, since they were not included in the PMA 2010 press release. Now there is confirmation of this from the Leica-side, by Leica VP of marketing at PDN Gear Guide.

In the interview they said they'll concentrate on "consumer events", so expect Leica to attend conferences of lawyer and dentist interest ;-)

In other Leica news, the S-system is now delayed according to AP-UK. The new release estimate for the S2 is now December mid-January, due to "increased demand".
