Kodak TRUESENSE sensors to be shown next week

Via Image Sensors World and DCViews we learn that Kodak will be showcasing their new TRUESENSE Color Filter Pattern CCD sensor technology at the upcoming Vision 2009 trade show in Germany (Nov 3-5). The technology promises noticeable improvements in light sensitivity.

Their current TRUESENSE sensors go up to 8mp (22mm diagonal) with the KAI-08050 at the 5.5 micron level. As far as we can tell these listed sensors are targeting industrial sectors, not consumer digital cameras, but it will be interesting to see where they take it from here.
